Department of Theory and History of State and Law
In 1905-1906, an aeronautical section was established at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which in 1908 transformed into an aviation club. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, talented students studied the latest achievements of national and foreign scientists and designers in the field of aeronautics, built and tested gliders, airplanes, and airships.
Department of Civil Law and Procedure
Founded with the purpose of providing the teaching of civil law disciplines, creating the necessary scientific and methodological base, and conducting research on civil law and procedure issues in the aerospace field, family and labor relations, as well as legal support for the activities of teaching staff and students.
Department of Criminal Law and Procedure
Founded with the aim of organizing and carrying out educational and methodological work on criminal law disciplines, educational activities among students, and conducting research in criminal law, criminal procedure, criminalistics, and criminology.
Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law
Created to provide teaching of key legal courses that ensure fundamental legal knowledge related to mastering the basic legal status of individuals and citizens, the mechanisms of state authorities and their interaction, the content of executive bodies' administrative activities, the peculiarities of foreign constitutionalism, and the specifics of state administration in certain sectors and areas, particularly in civil aviation and financial-credit policy.

Department of Economic, Air, and Space Law
This unique department is tasked with the specialization of lawyers in the aerospace field. By its content, it is the only one in Ukraine and is focused on studying the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of international, European, and national air and space law, as well as the problems of legal regulation of economic legal relations, particularly during the formation and development of the state's air transport industry.
